Can it be changed so that elite monsters can spawn despite the fact that there might already be one spawned somewhere? I really hate that restriction. The problem I have with it is that if you are hunting a spawn, you aren't necessarily hunting the entire spawn, sometimes it's only a certain loop or area. If it turns out there is an elite that spawned in an area where you aren't hunting then you will never be able to spawn an elite during your hunt which is depressing.
Plus if you kill a spawn of monsters and then run into an elite, you know that the most recent monsters you kill won't be an elite cause there was already one that was spawned. That's also sad in it's own way.
Also I don't like it how only certain set of spawns can have elites. Like a dragon lord elite will only spawn in dragons lords, but if there are dragon lords else where they have no chance of being an elite. Why is that? I would much rather just enjoy there being a set % for an elite to spawn and leave it at that.
Perhaps I'm just being greedy, but this really bothers me lol.

The idea behind elite creatures is that a strengthened creature appears as a result of killing many creatures of that type. It also has nice a factor of surprise, especially for newer players, and can be an additional challenge.
I understand that sometimes it is not nice that you can't have an elite in a certain cave, but the way it works, it is not simple to make. Many creatures just appear in 1 spawn, so there are just a few of them, like dragon lords, that have the issue of not having an elite in a spawn. (Although there is something else there).
Making elites a regular spawn is something I do not want to do, because it removes the factor of surprise and uniqueness that an Elite creature has.

That's fine. You can scratch the idea of making it so elite's are a "regular spawn", but you still didn't take in account to what I first said. I don't think elites should be restricted in a way where if there is already one spawned, another one won't spawn. For example, take a look at the Icy Ogres and Icy Behemoth spawn. Do you see how huge that place is? If someone kills one of those in an remote location and an elite re-spawns there, chances are no one will kill it for a very long time which means no other elites can spawn.
By changing it so that elites can spawn even if there is already one spawned somewhere doesn't mean you are taking away the element of surprise. You can even lower the chances of one spawning if you'd like. I just really hate how if an elite is spawned somewhere another one will never spawn until someone has kill the elite. It means you have to constantly hunt the ENTIRE spawn of a place if you want a chance to encounter an elite.
