Alright, since I fucked up bigtime by deleting my character while playing around with the site, I figured I had some spare time to create a post.
Last season we had huge issues collecting all the sardonyx', leading to people quit until you guys made some changes (more monsters in hell dropping sardonyx', mainly Hellborns). Now it has come to my attention that this change has been reverted. This in itself isn't a huge thing, even though I loved the fact that grinding in hell actually gave you some sense of progress.
Now what I'm actually wondering right now is: did you change it back to the old style, where daily tasks are the way to collect the sardonyx'? Or is there a new alternative way now? I know that most of the people that reached Hell so far aren't going to do the daily tasks over and over for a few weeks, so if there's no alternative way right now I'd like to propose one.
First of all, make the custom monsters drop sardonyx' again, yet at a lower rate than the Hellborns used to do last season. Now instead of the regular monsters dropping a lot of sardonyx', make it so that their bosses that spawn after X amount of kills drop a bigger amount. This goes for the 'minibosses' at Hellborns and other places, as well as for the big bosses at the plague area, Pyromancers etc. I can live with just 1 item per boss, even though that is a pain in the ass (you could get the same item multiple times, while not getting another one you still need), but for the love of god give us some sense of progress while killing a boss as well. The item pieces are all cool and awesome to get, but if we only get to use them after farming daily tasks for a month, I'm afraid the server is going to die out very soon.
