After playing this server for a little over a week I've noticed how repetitive it can get. What I mean is that you do the main quest-line tasks, do the dungeon for current quest-line, grind for quite a while, and repeat. It would be nice to see some other possibilities we can do instead of task, dungeon, repeat. I wouldn't mind how it is now, but due to the lack of custom monsters, items, and spells it feels like real tibia in a sense. I'm going to have to use the spells I have right now for the rest of the game which is pretty disappointing, especially considering the 2 customs spells I do have are just stances. I have no motivations to get outfits. I mean I'll get the one I think looks the coolest eventually, but getting the rest has no point. The quests that don't pertain to the main-quest line, access to a boss and or a feat of strength have no purpose of doing because the rewards are rarely worth it, with the exception of chests around the map. I just really want there to be other things to do than to endlessly grind because that will burnout players.
I'll start off by touching 2 topics I've mentioned earlier;
1. I still think Elites need a little reworking! You yourself said "We agree with that elite monster should be something special." If you agree they should be something special why not work to achieve that!
You said the problem was that the Elites were to hard unless your level was well above the hunting place, and I can see why that would be a problem. I'm not sure how hard this is too do, but isn't it possible to make monsters that won't attack you unless you attack them first? If this is the case then couldn't Elites be a neutral monsters where you would decided if you are to weak or strong enough to fight it. This way if you see an Elite and you feel you're to weak then don't bother hitting it. If you feel like you can face it then prove your strength! If this still fails then I still feel like Elites should be able to drop zinc coins or other valuables that regular monsters can't drop. Perhaps make an item that only Elite monsters can drop like, some type of currency such as zinc coins.
2. As you said about raids "people would not kill the monsters, making that town impossible to live in for newcommers". Very valid point but there are such simple solutions to this. For example the harder the raid the higher tier town it happens in. Obviously you'll want a super easy raid for Tindra since that's where a lot of newcomers are. A bit harder raid for Port Sarlin, and so on... If this still won't work then I'd like to suggestion world bosses. Basically what a world boss is a boss that spawns in a certain location and requires a team to kill. It would also be nice to make it so that when these bosses are killed, everyone that helps gets and item that automatically goes to their inventory. It can be good, bad, decent, etc.. but the point is that everyone who participated should get a prize! There could be a spawn in each town where the boss would appear, perhaps even in some hunting places, but of course isolated from monsters so it wouldn't keep players from being able to hunt. I just can't stand seeing these useless raids. "Yay Demodras has spawn, *kills it* wow a dragon claw omg so awesome and useless.. not" Why not make raids that people will actually feel MOTIVATE to do. Make the bosses drop USEFUL items that people actually want like zinc coins or equipment. Going back to what you said about people not killing the monsters, maybe if you gave them a good reason to kill the monsters than they actually would.
Getting idea's to pass is very hard considering how sensitive you guys are to customization and would rather stick to vanilla content. Not saying that it's a bad thing, I mean it shows how careful you are with your balancing, but it's just that I'm starting to burn myself out with the server because all I really have to do is grind grind grind until I can do next set of task and then keep grinding. Anyway I'll have more suggestions in the future and even though they most likely won't pass I have to keep trying because it's the only chance I have!
