Hello people, I haven't played in 3 months or so... Cause problems in school and in life haha, anyways.. Im back and I will play this server forever.
The reason of this thread is because I had blessings till level 50 (That's awesome), BUT once you reach level 50 the blessings are taken away. (How do I know that?)- I just died and lost my backpack, I was like w/e I have blessings, but no, I didn't and haven't die since level 47. I would love that the staff check that out because It did hit me really hard lol, just lost 15cc on that backpack + moon backpack + swiss knife.
-Greetings, Liro & Steve.
8 May 2014, 22:41 Died at Level 66 by a hellfire golem.

Protection level lasts until level 50. You can't buy blessings meanwhile, as it would be useless. But from then on, you lose that protection until you get the blessings.

Yeah, I just found that out... Well at least I didin't knew that, if you can advertice that on patchs or at least make the NPC tells you "protected till level 50, and once you reach it you gotta buy them" because I was really upset tbh :/... I don't want people complain about that because they didnt knew like me.
Greetings, Liro & Steve.
Thanks Darkstar.

I feel like it says it somewhere in npc text or something... but that does suck. Ill get you a new knife and moon bp if you are out of points? Anything else I can do to help recover let me know.

I still think bless should never be that cheap.

Suggestion I still think bless should never be that cheap. Your suggestion is to increase the price of the blessing? The base cost? The price increase per level? The level cap at which the price stops increasing? If you could be a little bit more specific it would help us to evaluate it

Well before the changes, it was 100K after Level 100 . So i guess 100k was ok for a bless .
Idk, people may hate me =P .
Making the bless less expensive gave us opportuniti to explore more without worrying much about Money as about 40k is quite easy to get at high levels, also not much point of pking or something ( besides Jason's death today i dont see a Pk in.. 1 month ? ) . Idk about the market , since we dont have many players online still .
Making the bless expensive makes everyone worry more about your current balance makes pking Worth as you're making the player spend more money on bless.
So the current bless is Good and Bad at the same time , might need others opinion .
For the momment thinking better , the current bless is ok i gue , but if we get an increased number of players you guys might have to change it . Just something i though..

How about 2-3 diferent bless only 1 would protect your equipment while the others would protect your exp/skills. That way new players around lvl 100 or so can still have the blessing at a decent price 55k might be kinda cheap but more than that might be a bit too much since they dont have a big account like cape over there. Besides at level 100+ is when someone is actually ready to explore most of the map and many tasks from the sarlin society cant be soloed at that point unless the just pg'ed all the way. By having a cheap bless they get someting to do while waiting for a team to show up, well at least exploring is way more fun than just grinding mindlessly for gold/exp. And for higher leveled players we wouldnt mind paying a bit extra to keep our skills/exp as well, losing about 6-7 hours worth of skills a death with bless isnt fun at all, maybe the extra bless to protect skills/exp can be sold at hard to reach places, so death is still really worth avoiding other than just making the bank account a bit smaller.

First off, let it be noted that not all level 100+ have 4,000,000 as capetagem does. That being said, I do feel the 'cost of death' is a bit low. Here is my idea for a new bless system. - One blessing that protects item loss 100% as it already does, but perhaps raise the level that the cost caps out at.
- A second blessing that will add some skill/exp loss protection. This % would of course be determined by Gm.
This new second blessing should only be purchasable after you have already purchased the first blessing. I also like the idea of making the NPC hard to reach, but you could also put it in a room of the Sarlin Society that has hunter/slayer requirements just to be simpler. Another idea would be to have the Temple NPC of Hell be the only NPC capable of bestowing such a powerful blessing.

Even when i had 300k i though bless was ok being 100k =P .
Edit :
Capetagemx died at Level 276 by a hellfire fighter and a spectre. Well shit happens, i could see my bless is 55k , so its a bit more than i though it would be (though 37k ) . Seems nice .
Seems Nice.
Although when we die at this point , the worse thing that could happen is losing Skills , as they take more time than lvl it self.
Offtopic : Max level 300 ? ;_; im almost 300 =\ Gimme moar levels !! xD
