- A 4th difficulty level on the daily arena quest. (The one in the orclands). They're already pretty easy to solo, even if you're at the minimum required level. At level 300 you'll clear the waves in 10 seconds and you'll have to spend the next 2 minutes waiting for the next wave. Trust me those 2 minutes feel like an eternity, especially if you have to wait after every wave.
- A new dragon lord spawn Dragon lords are one of the most commonly hunted monsters, especially by mages. But we only have one spawn for them. I suggest changing the dragon spawn below the Cathedral into a dragon lord spawn. It's too far and annoying to get to for a dragon hunt. but maybe people would actually hunt there if there were dragon lords. Ofcourse, the quest there will need to have a different reward to stay on par with the difficulty.
- It would be pretty cool if the list of feats shows who died during that feat. A purely hypothetical example that definitely never happened: Me, Jamal and Vitalie fight The Evil. I get nailed by a beam and die in the first 10 seconds of the fight. However, Jamal and Vitalie manage to defeat The Evil anyway. Instead of listing only Jamal and Vitalie on the list of feats, add my name on it as well. But add like a little tombstone behind my name, or simply "R.I.P.".
- Cheaters I really hope you'll put more effort into catching them. Best case scenario; the new client ruins them all.
what do y'all think?

This thread is amazing! Thanks Ferret for creating it, it would be cool if everyone gave their inputs about what they wish for in the next season - It would be pretty cool if the list of feats shows who died during that feat. Do you have any kind of special motivating for this proposal? It's a really cool idea actually. Right now the feats work by a script that when the boss dies, it simply registers all players in the bossfight room at that moment. I guess for your proposal to work, the script should also check the database for players who have died by that boss in the last ~15 minutes. It will miss the players that have died by summons for example, or by other causes (getting killed by their own teammates, i don't know). We'll find a way to make it work

Maybe adding character necromancer-like wouldn't mess too much with balance ?
It would have abailities to summon/revive (how better u think) creatures, and set maybe curses to foes, like penalty to melee damage, paralyze them or turn into a stone for few seconds (so might be unable to do anything) ?
Just a thought,(Diablo 2 was my one of the best sources of fun, when i was a kid) because Ruthless has already tons of gr8 stuff, imo very well balanced with each other.

I was expecting a thread like that, thank you guys! First of all the team must know what they want to the next update, the available time to work, determining how big the changes will be and most important, the goal of the next season. Also is well known that this server doesn't need a full revamp, just some minor adjustments, because its already great!
- Completely agree with Ferrados proposals.
- Mainly, if not the most important, we need more players and a bigger server lifetime. Like I said back ago, people does not enjoy loosing things, if you consider that there are many players that come back to play they favorite game just to continue they history there...
- More immersive gameplay experience Things the player do that makes us feels that it was really worth doing, big changes, like the ruthless chaos campaign. That can be applied to quests, by adding more choices and heavy consequences, depending the side you chooses. More immersive systems, look the Alchemy system, you start by making some pots and from nowhere 'a wild book recipe appears' Create a Inscription system then! Etc..
- A new class maybe? We still waiting what you guys have to show us!
- New spells! With nice effects!
- Some fresh areas to newcomers! Basically we have (had) two choices, two different ways we can go till reaching the mid level, just before starting society quests. We have two big areas already, but what about small different ones? We have a green normal place and a cold one (like a tropical scenario and a frost one). We could have cooler new ones!
I'm a simple man, just getting this server back online is already a big thing! Congratulations for your work, hope things get even better, always!

Do you have any kind of special motivating for this proposal? That's nothing but unfounded speculation! (If I still had the video I'd post a .gif of it)- Mainly, if not the most important, we need more players and a bigger server lifetime. Like I said back ago, people does not enjoy loosing things, if you consider that there are many players that come back to play they favorite game just to continue they history there...
Ofcourse, more players is always better! This actually brings up an interesting topic. People often asked in game chat: "if this is season X, then the server will end, right?". I always assured them this server will not just end. It ends when people stop playing the server, just like every other OT server. It's kind of silly to be afraid of losing your progress on an OT server anyway, it WILL happen. How many servers last more than 6 months? Atleast here you have one last hurrah with the remaining players on the last day, before the demons whipe out mankind. After that you say "goodbye and until next season" to your comrades. (seriously, that last day was awesome!) I left feeling confident that season 4 is going to be just as awesome as season 3, especially after people have a few months off to get their motivation back. I think the "seasonal format" is working surprisingly well for an RPG OT server. Compare it to "World of Therran", I saw quite a few people from here play there as well. Great server: amazing map, amazing story, lots of custom content. Started with about 80 players just like Ruthless. 8 weeks later we're down to 15 players (and that was after we got 2 famous twitch streamers to boost the population). Then their server provider gets issues, and they just shut it down because it's not really worth it staying online anymore, and that's it. You don't know if it ever comes back up, if it doesn't, or that it gets sold off, leaving all that potential to wither away on a harddrive somewhere... <whipes away a single tear> Anyway. TLDR: I don't know if this was already planned for the new website, but we should have a FAQ page on there. Maybe a clear answer on under what conditions the server ends, might convince a few more players to stay. There was a lot of information on the old website, but most of it was burried below walls of text under "server information".

Hey Guys - Id like to see bigger and cooler houses, we can have better houses, why not? this will not affect the buy your custom house system. You guys can also sell custom guild house systems a bit expensive, guilds will crowdfund to buy a custom big guild house for sure! - Spells... yeah, I think is too hard to make custom spells, but would be nice to have things like teleport or maybe customized spells? - Some new area would be cool too - Bigger common respawn areas, like DL definitely yeah! - More choice and items to buy with the donation system - Maybe, just maybe *-* a flexible and friendly addon system, so if you have low pop in the server the npcs will require less addon itens (you can define the quantity) to make and when there are lots of players playing, more items. Thats because I played the whole season but could barely make two addon/outfit with items

I agree with every proposal posted in here. Some minor "fixes" I would like: -Loot creature products with right click (just like gold) -Dont have to wait 10 secs to skin monsters with obsidian knife
Thats for now

Maybe it would be a good feature to add our alchemy and crafting skills into skill bars.
Also i'd thought about flasks of gunpowder, which are dropping from stronger pirates on snowlands. It could be a good weapon using them as alchemy like a bomb or sth like that. Damage would be depending on our skill I guess ?
Is that a good idea?

Thanks for all your ideas guys! We also have one more specific question: Right now, what do you think are the level ranges that are most dull/boring in terms of solo-content and team-content? (both for hunting and questing)

In terms of solo play I would say between levels 100-200, perhaps even 150-200. Although.. last season quests were updated in the society to get you through without having to do the tough dungeons. I guess I don't have the true experience xd

I'd also say between 100 and 200, once you can safely hunt serpent spawns, ice ogres and/or magma beasts, you'll be hunting those until you get access to Hell. Atleast I personally would never hunt on demon valley. There isn't much team content for 150-200 either. There's Azara, maybe the Elder Guardian, Deepling Council and Ferumbras if you don't mind being slightly overleveled. Anything else? I guess you're supposed to explore hell at those levels, but if you don't have a team good enough to defeat Orshabaal you're SOL.
