I believe you misread what was stated. No FIELD spells meaning like Fire Field or more an issue Fire Bomb and things of that nature. (I'm assuming because you can easily block monsters paths with them.) Not magic wall. Ah ok, I thought mwalls and wgs were field runes too ufff then it's ok, I guess

Hahaha nein, walls are pro =s it's the only way to kill somebody with higher level than yourself, maybe it's better RPG, more balanced, idk ..

Just to clarify, magic walls wil not be removed. We're talking about energy walls, fire fields, etc.

A sneak peak into what we have been working on. New spells:We continue our quest to add more variety to every vocation while keeping their balance. For season 2, we have added at least 1 spell for every vocation, and improved several existing ones. Battle Stance: Usable by knights, will increase your melee skills by 40%, but increase damage taken from all sources by 25%. It will work as a toggle-type spell (similar to Iron Wall). This spell will replace Blood Rage. Whirling Barrage: Usable by paladins, this spell will root your character for a couple of seconds while it fires a quick succession of your currently equipped arrows/bolts at your target. The amount of shots fired will depend on your level (between 12 and 18), but each shot will deal reduced damage. Arcane Barrier: Usable by druids in wolf form, this spell will grant your target a shield that will absorb a specific amount of damage equal to the mana spent on using the spell. The amount of mana used to cast this spell will always be 10% of your current mana. Pyroblast:Usable by sorcerers, this spell will channel for 3 seconds (during which your character may not move or cast offensive spells) before shooting a massive blast at your target, dealing damage in a +-shaped area (similar to explosion). The damage of this spell will exceed the one of the current Hell's Core spell. New QuestsWe have also been focusing on new content for all level ranges, emphasizing on quests. Port Sarlin will offer more content than before, but our main focus for quests is Frisiga, where you will have a completely thrilling experience from the beginning, which is at the end phase of it's developement. Port SarlinOne of the requests we most received was a revamp of the village Port Sarlin. We redesigned the city completely from scratch. Here you can see a preview of the new home of the Sarlin Society. This is it for today, more news regarding Frisiga will follow shortly. What are your thoughts on the new spells? I'm not sure if others feel this way or not, but I check this about one a week with hope. I feel let down every time. The update so far looks great, but I dislike waiting around several weeks for it. Not sure if I'll be joining season two any more.

@blarhh It would be a waste of time to type up an official and informative post about 1 new spell being added, or 1 new quest. Thats why you wait until you did a bunch of stuff and make 1 big fancy post about it. I too check these forums weekly for updates, of course I don't always get one, but thats okay. I don't think that is a very valid reason to not play next season, because they simply didn't inform you of progress often enough.

As for the progress report itself, I am very excited about many things here! Where to begin? First of all as an EK I LOVEE the new knight spell. You can have 2 EK on one hunt and one do tank and one do dps, perfect. Also good for solo exp/questing. The new Port Sarlin is looking nice. Although I can't see much from the teaser, I can at least tell the boat/dock area has been expanded, and those buildings look a bit bigger than anything I have seen in port before. I'm very excited for Frisiga as well, can't wait see what that looks like.

I'm just bummed that the initial statement claimed it should take a couple of weeks to be online and I still haven't seen an estimated timeline since.

I played an ot and they just upped new areas while the server was online. They just did a restart when it was all ready and mapped, boom and we could enjoy the new changes without delay

They stated that due to a change with hosting, the server would normally take a couple weeks to straighten everything back out and get it up and running. BUT due to the current state of the server and lack of player base they decided to do a complete overhaul of everything rather than start back up something that is sub par. I hope you understand

Just turn the server on and make the map updates while we are playing. Most custom ots work this way.
